Jeff Gittleman (President and CEO)

Jeff has been with HawkMtn Labs since it’s inception in 1985. In 1999, Jeff purchased the operation, making him the second generation family owner of the business. In addition to owning and operating the business, Jeff also holds the position of Laboratory Director.

De Ann Miller (Marketing Director)

De Ann started with HawkMtn Labs in the Fall of 2005. She holds degrees in Business Management and Marketing from  Pennsylvania State University. De Ann works directly with Jeff managing all facets of the businesses operations, with a primary focus on marketing HawkMtn Labs services and resources.

Ronald Andrae (Technical Director)

Ron joined HawkMtn Labs in November 2005 as the Environmental Technical Director. Ron is a 1992 Shippensburg University of PA graduate with a BS in Chemistry. He brought 14 years of experience with him, including 10 years experience as laboratory/technical director. He has supported both environmental and industrial clients during that time.

Andrea Mengel (Quality Director)

Andrea joined HawkMtn Labs in August of 2000 with a BS degree in Geo Environmental Studies from Shippensburg University. Andrea has been instrumental in developing and implementing the Quality Management Program. Her efforts resulted in HawkMtn Labs obtaining certifications with NELAC, ISO 9001-2000 and PA DEP Chapter 252. Additionally, Andrea ensures that our lab is running efficiently and safely.

Cathy Reed (Accounting/Human Resources Manager)

Cathy started with HawkMtn Labs in March of 1994 and is well versed in the companies operations. She has held numerous administrative positions before settling into her dual position as Manager of Accounting and Human Resources departments. Cathy has become a staple at the labs.

Stacie Bray (Microbiology Technical Director/Laboratory Manager)

Stacie earned her B.S. in Molecular Biology from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia in 2006. Stacie joined HawkMtn Labs in August of 2007 as a biology and chemistry analyst. Stacie holds dual positions with HawkMtn Labs; Microbiology Technical Director, since 2008, and Laboratory Manager, as of January 2011.

Mike Barr (Coal Lab Coordinator)

Mike has been with HawkMtn Labs since 1999. He began his career as a coal lab technician. Over the years Mike became proficient in using the various lab instruments and equipment as well as the daily operations resulting in his current position and responsibility as Coal Lab Coordinator.
