Quality Program

HawkMtn Labs recognizes that any activity that receives an input and then subsequently converts that input into an output for the next process needs to be controlled and managed in an efficient and effective manner. Based on this, HawkMtn Labs has implemented the process approach to the management of the company.

The Quality Management System implemented at HawkMtn Labs covers the entire organization. This has been accomplished so that HawkMtn Labs can demonstrate its ability to provide consistent service that meets customer and regulatory requirements and to address client satisfaction through the effective application of the Quality Management System, including process for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

HawkMtn Labs specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out environmental tests and/or calibrations, including sampling. It covers testing performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods,

This Quality system contains all of the requirements that environmental testing laboratories have to meet demonstrate that they operate a quality system, are technically competent, and are able to generate technically valid results.

If more stringent standards or requirements are included in a mandated test method or by regulation, HawkMtn Labs demonstrates that such requirements are met. If it is not clear which requirements are more stringent, the standard from the method or regulation is to be followed.

HawkMtn Labs has established, implemented and maintains a quality system based on the required elements contained in NELAC and is appropriate to the type, range and volume of environmental testing activities it undertakes. HawkMtn Lab documents its policies, systems, programs, procedures and instructions to the extent necessary to assure the quality of the environmental test results. The system’s documentation is communicated to, understood by, available to, and implemented by the appropriate personnel.
